Saying annyeong to Jeju

The sun was setting as we finished off a green tea latte at one of Jejus ubiquitous coffee houses.

This island is truly a paradise, with some new beautiful sight every time you turn around. Mountains, ocean, pine trees, citrus, black lava rock, and friendly people. There are museums for everything (Hello Kitty, Cars and Pianos [yep, that's one museum], Tea, Jeju Horses, and Natural History, just to make a few).

The Old Market is a must see. You can get everything from cheap shoes to fresh ginseng, kitchy tourist souvenirs, sesame oil pressed before your eyes, and a truly overwhelming variety of fish products. Plus street food galore.
Fair warning though; either learn to park like a Korean, or  take a taxi, because the parking spaces are TIGHT! That's true all over, but seems especially so in Jeju.
Thats why most Korean cars have these bumpers on the doors.

And the food! Must try is Jeju beef BBQ (far surpassed the pork).

Nothing but happy memories of my time here.  Jeju Island gets 6 out of 5 stars
