Sushi

Splurged a little on a fancy sushi dinner at Shibuya station.

This is my Sushi chef, who's been doing this for 20 years!


There was 2 appetizers,  pufferfish skin (right) and jellyfish w/seaweed (left)

#1 Tai / red snapper

#2 kanpochi / amberjack

(No pic, which is a shame,  because this c was my fav)

#3 aji / makerel - 3rd fav


#4 toro / tuna - 2nd fav


#5 hotate / scallop


#6 uni / sra urchin


#7 crab


#8 spanish makerel 

#9 nodoguro / sea perch - another fav

#10 magurozuke / blue fin tuna


Bonus fish, chefs choice: kasuga / young red snapper


All served with Miso soup and baked egg ( which was actually a little sweet)

Dessert was some sort of jello like confection, with hot green tea.
All in all a thoroughly delightful experience,  and I'm so glad I sat at the counter!

Another day, another adventure
