Hotel Mifujien

Walked, took three different trains, and a bus to get to Mt Fuji (very proud of myself for all the heavily assisted navigation). My mountain view room has a great view of the lake, but its cloudy, so no Fuji today. Forecast is for clear in the morning, so fingers crossed.

Still its beautiful here. The hotel is an onsen (hot mineral baths). I'll let you look that up, along with the etiquette rules that are associated.

It's an older hotel, but I like that about it. It has charm.

Ok, very changed into my Yukata, which I'd like a simple kimono, and apparently the couture du jour at an onsen. I'm off to soak!

Don't forget the Japanese toe socks!
